This recipe calls for grilled sirloin steaks that go well with a wine sauce made with Gemtree Uncut Shiraz 2016. The bold and fruity notes in the wine go well with the charred flavors of the steak, and the garlic and herbs give the dish more depth. It's a fancy and rich meal that will definitely impress.
Ingredients: 2 sirloin steaks. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped. 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped. 1 cup Gemtree Uncut Shiraz 2016. 1/2 cup beef broth. 2 tablespoons butter.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Use minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper to season the steaks. Rub them in olive oil. For medium-rare, or until done to your liking, grill the steaks for four to five minutes on each side. Take the steaks off the grill and give them a minute or two to rest. Gemtree Uncut Shiraz 2016 and beef broth should be mixed in a saucepan. Bring it down to a simmer and let it half down. Add butter and stir until it melts and the sauce gets thicker. Put the steaks on the grill and pour the wine sauce over them. You can eat it with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
