Dear Be more chill fans,

So in our fandom we have been getting a lot of new members and honestly I've noticed a lot of hate. I realize we all know that Rich was sucidal, Michael has two moms, and Jake's parents left him but they typically don't. Just because they haven't had the chance to watch every single bootleg, listen to the album 1000 times, and read the book doesn't mean they love the fandom any less. I, personally, have been a member of the be more chill fandom since 2016 after discovering the book and then discovering the musical. And I know that this transition from off Broadway to Broadway is weird. Especially with us getting new fans. Most of them will see Jake Dillinger as Britton while a lot of old fans will see him as Jake Boyd. Same with other characters. We're gonna see a lot of new fanart where they're different. And these little differences are hard to adjust to. But, that doesn't mean we can be rude to the new fans when they just realize things like that in the smartphone hour the other girls are just the rest of the cast in lopesided dollar store Halloween wigs. And that's okay. Please reach out to new fans and join there excitement. If anyone who reads this is a new fan, feel free to dm me about things you have realized or wanna talk about.
