Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup diced bell peppers. 1 egg. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 4 lettuce leaves. 4 tomato slices. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons ketchup. 1 tablespoon mustard. 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon onion powder. 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, diced onions, diced bell peppers, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Form the mixture into 4 burger patties. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt.
