:0000 you like dragon ball??? I didn't know that! (DB is kind of my life atm like... there's so much I want to discuss but I'm somewhat shy about my opinions on it... but if I did, I'd be doing the equivalent to what you do for Bakugou... honestly I need to catch up with MHA but I'm so laaaazy... I did try Oumagadoki Zoo though! Only 3 chapters in... Shiina seems like a dick.)
aaahhh well, i like DBZ!!! i’ve never seen or read the original DB series.
as for Oumagadoki, well. Shiina seems like a dick now, but the more you learn about him, the more you understand him, and the more you realize that he just wants to have friends and protect them more than anything. he plays rough and does weird things b/c he hasn’t mentally or emotionally matured since he was a small child, and was all alone for a while.
he does become a little less aggressively…. friendly after a little bit, tho. the series is genuinely good tho, and a lot of things in MHA is inspired directly from Oumagadoki, since it’s Horikoshi’s first work and the work he had the most fun with.
if anything, reading Oumagadoki gives a look into Horikoshi’s writing style and the kinds of themes, character development, story development, etc he’s interested in exploring or using
