@ricksplosion liked this for a starter.
It had been quite sometime since her fathers return, Beth couldn’t of been happier, but even with him there, there had still been this pressure on her. Jerry had finally moved out, the divorcee papers signed, Beth would be lying if she said she didn’t notice how Morty took it, infarct it broke her heart.
The divorce became one of the topics she didn’t speak of much, rather she wanted to pretend everything was alright which unfortunately wasn’t the reality. Beth felt awful for finally saying she wanted one, but Jerry continuously tried to get in between Rick and herself and she couldn’t take it anymore. It was hard for her to be alone as much as she was now, and most days she found herself at the bottom of the bottle, however today the children had been at school so it only left Rick and herself at home.
Slowly, the blonde rose from her bed and walked down the hallway to the kitchen, her eyes shifting to her father who had been asleep on her couch. Beth wouldn’t wake him up, rather she just kept moving to the kitchen to make coffee. Once the pot was on, she’d begin to look at her cellphone she left in the kitchen, needless to say there were texts from Jerry begging to come home. Beth would just place her phone down, ignoring him as she began to make breakfast for herself and Rick. On the menu for this morning had been pancakes, eggs, sausage and some toast.
