Sometimes I deal with my negative emotions by putting them into drawings. It’s not about passion or doing something I love. It’s more about getting the sadness out of myself. Usually I make some kind of dark self-portrait, like drawing my emotions, scribbling hard, even tearing the paper with the pen from pressing so deep.

Not long before what happened with the animals, I read the epilogue novellas of Nier:Automata, and all the messy, disappointing thoughts in my head kind of mixed with the impressions from what I read. I ended up pouring all that negativity into a drawing of the characters.
