♦: What can ‘kill’ your muse/ your inspiration?

not much, to be honest. even if I don’t really feel like it I can usually get a thread/etc. written out whenever. I’d say the only thing that really messes me up is if I’m working on a thread & someone irl interrupts me, after that I lose concentration for a while & second-guess whether I can continue the thread just as well as before. also my own laziness, that can really get in the way of my writing out longer stuff lmao.

♫: Is there any kind of muse, you cannot play?

any muse that is overtly sexual/romantic to the point where I can’t just disregard it like I’m doing with morty. I’d just rather not deal with those topics regularly. I’m not sure if I could play extroverted muses that well either, there’s not enough for me to relate to. um… I probably wouldn’t know for sure with others until I tried.

♯: Is there any kind of muse, you would like to play, but don’t dare? Why?

admittedly I would like to play the grumpy old man type like rick or stan pines someday but I’ve only played one muse like that (aph england) while now I’m used to the awkward type. muses like wirt & morty have become like my comfort zone, I know I can adapt to them quickly because I write them so often & can at least somewhat relate to them. they let me get threads done quickly without much thought. so I guess it kinda comes down to getting more confidence & the motivation to actually put more work into different characterization.

FINGERNAILS IMBEDDED into his seatbelt && knees pulled up to his chest. Beyond the glass of the flying c a r everything passed by too QUICKLY, too fleeting for him to process when he hadn’t even had a chance to E A T yet. Teeth grinding && his chest too constricted ;; the anxiety still hung over his shoulders, especially when SOMEBODY yelled for him to hurry, hurry, HURRY THEY HAVE TO G O !! Its just not something you can stay calm for.
