After bringing in Jessica Appleton to help her keep Charlie at bay, Marla struggles between loyalty to her friends and the integrity of her investigation. Clay Burke feels his support system crumbling as Jay, Phil, and even Carlton begin siding against him. John and Charlie's attraction to each other comes to a head at the worst possible time.
