From the conception of this site way back when, there was an artist that caught my attention and has held it, even in his hiatuses. What has always stood out to me with RICO GOTEM, is his quality of work. To be a young independent artist funding his own career all while holding down a job is something to be commended. And with time and resources being short at times, the quality of his work is beyond up to par from an indie artist in those situations.
From the music he puts out, to the videos he releases, all are well produced and executed. Rico came back this summer not with a vengeance, but a definitive statement- a message.
