@rictorscales ❛ hey bro? that’s gay ❜
The recent events had been hell on a large part of the city, but New York was one of those places that could bounce back. And in the end, Steve guessed he couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. The means weren’t something he was comfortable with, the ends didn’t change that... But he wasn’t going to spit in their face either. Mutants had chosen their path, and he and Tony were trying to figure out what their way forward would be. And meanwhile, the rest of the city was slowly rebuilding, restarting, beginning all over again. Including the shops and storefronts and vendors on the street. Steve had paused at a newstand, which had a few cards too. He picked up one decorated with hearts, and then heard a comment behind him.
Steve turned his head, blinking at the familiar face. “You don’t know that,” he said, smiling lightly. He glanced at the card in his hand and saw the rainbow border around the hearts and tilted his head. “Okay, I didn’t make it that hard to guess.”
