Sooo... I'm kinda stuck at home because I got myself a sinus infection (yay!) and my teeth and my face and my eyes fucking hurt and can't do anything else besides binge watching stuff on Netflix or drawing stuff. A few days ago I stumbled upon this gem here - a piece for a zine that sadly, due to a few complications and unfortunate events was never published. Since it's been sitting on my desktop for a while (I thing it was late 2017 or early 2018 when I made this) I wanted to make a redraw of it to see how my drawing style has changed since then and upload both :)

Me: *watches s5 and realizes there will be no pre-kerberos backstory*

Also me: *passive-aggressively adds pre-kerberos sheith to the emperor!AU to make myself sad*

Ok, but seriously... s5 was awesome and I can’t wait to see more. And maybe some pre-kerberos backstory. Maybe... Until then, no one can stop me from mixing my two favorite AUs together: garrison!sheith and emperor!keithAU.

Also: hc that Shiro, during finals weeks, is a mess. Like grown-out hair, no shaving for at least a week, “sleep is for the weak”-attitude and grimy shirts. So seeing Keith for the first time must’ve been like an enlightenment for him.

Shiro loved Keith. The Black Paladin loved the Red Paladin. The Champion loved the Emperor. And whatever future laid ahead of them, whatever fate they’d face, in every universe, in every reality, in every possible outcome, this would never change.

You keep what you kill Pt.2

I know these comics are super random, but... ever since drawing dark!verse and riddick!au’s ugly love child here I couldn’t stop thinking about this AU.

So, here are some of my HCs (I know some of you already had some ideas of their own, but I just wanted to throw in some more angsty shit into the pot :D)

After killing Lotor Keith became the new Emperor (following the “you keep what you kill”-rule Galran society is built on in this AU). The original plan was to dissolve the Empire

however that plan failed when Keith realized that there was something wrong with Shiro. (At this point it’s still unclear whether Shiro’s a clone, a sleeper agent or finally broke under the stress and pressure of infiltrating the Empire and fighting their last battle against Lotor... you decide :))

Shiro fell back into the mindset of the Champion, who is loyal to the Galra Empire and its Emperor, keeping Keith from announcing the end of the tyranny.

In order to buy some time and maybe find a way to get his Shiro back, Keith takes his place as the Emperor for now. That makes him and Shiro the enemies of the Altean Coalition as well as team Voltron, their friends and only family. (oh I’m so gonna draw a heartwrenching comic about this... You’re so gonna hate me guys.)

Definitely.

But I'm at a point where I have to decide if the story I have for this AU will have a happy ending or not. I'm still trying to figure that out, since I'm a huge fan of angst with a happy ending... But my thoughts on this AU are getting darker and darker xD maybe I should make a poll or something...
