Last chapter of Music Box is out!

This has been a hell of ride, I’m so thankful to everyone who stuck through with me to the end of this dark found family story. You can read chapter nineteen right here,

For those of you who haven’t read it:

Shiro is a domestic android, serving the wealthy business man Mr. Sendak by taking care of the penthouse and Mr. Sendak's ward, three year old Keith. But when Shiro learns about his soon replacement, everything comes crashing down on their isolated life, and the two of them are forced to flee into Detroit's bitterly cold streets, teaming up with a strange, but kind android named Lance to escape to Canada.

A story about parenthood, families, and growth, with a dash of romance. And murder, can't forget that either.

Probably an AU where both of them were poisoned by the Quintessense in s6?

Lotor

Being the son of the most evil being in the universe had already made him a beast in your mind.

You hated him with with every fiber in your being, you had never met him but everything he had done to you and the paladins most definitely put in a list of those you really didn’t like.

The first time you met him the two of you got into a fight, because he stumble into you and made you spill all of your tubes full of samples all of the floor of the castle.

He had apologized for this mishap but because he said it with a smirk, on his pretty face it made your blood boil and explode on him.

He was taken back by your sudden outburst and in return fired back at you just as harshly. 

The harsh words he threw at you made you so angry that you in your blind rage you slap him across the face.

It was after that you two had a loathing hate for one another, it wasn’t until a little after the whole scandal of him becoming emperor that you began to see him in a different light.

He wasn’t the same spoiled prince you had known, he had many layers to him that you saw more and more as you spent time with him.

He too saw you in a new light, he thought you were just some throw away human who was not imprint enough to have around.

When in reality he admired you for being the strong individual you were, you stood up for what you believed in and used your vast knowledge of nature to help the others.

It was sometime during this whole ordeal that you both fell for one another. 

You weren’t exactly sure how to express you’re new feeling for the half galran.

Especially when your friends were still wary of him, but you took the leap forward and confessed to him.

He was stunned by your sudden confession resulting in you panicking.

He smiled softly down at you as leaned down to your height and kissed you softly on the lips.

You stared at him dumbfounded as he pulled away, a blush crept up your neck as it spread across your face.

“I quite like this color on you, darling you should wear it more often.”

Shiro

After being broken and reformed by the Galra Shiro became a hollow version of his former self.

The first time you meet him is during a fight against the Galra when they were trying to steal Voltron, being the paladin of the Red lion made you important mostly because the lion was in the hands of the garla.

You along with Keith and Pidge who had gone to search for Pidge’s family while you searched for the red lion.

It was during your search you encountered the infamous Champion who attacked you on instinct.

You fought him off, just enough to retrieve the red lion and escape with the others.

you hadn’t known Shiro personally only stories you heard from the others of what he was like before he was taken by the Galra.

It sadden you especially after seeing the monster he had become first hand.

it was over a serious events that you encountered the dark solider, and every time it struck a cord within you and himself.

He always hesitated to attack you when he was in close range of you, but was always snapped out of his daze before you attacked him. 

During the rescue mission for Allura after she had sacrificed herself to spare Keith and the rest of Voltron is when you get the first real conversation out of him.

He was completely delusional and full bent of killing anything that crossed his path.

He acknowledged you as his rival for some reason unknown to you both, he didn’t see you as the enemy which confused his already unstable mind.

Keith was still determined to get back his oldest friend back no matter the cost.

You felt the same as Keith, you weren’t exactly sure why you felt this way but you did.

Keith

Being the only human among the blade of mamora was unheard of, you had no actual galra blood.

Being raised from that of a infant made you just as apart of the blades, just like any of the other half breeds among the Galra rebels.

The only thing that got under your skin was the newest member of the society, the half human and former paladin of Voltron, Keith.

You weren’t really sure why he got under your skin, but he did and you two constantly bickered about anything and everything.

 perhaps the reason you hated him so much was because even though you had not been born with galra you had been raised and trained to be like one of them.

Because you weren’t galra, you were not permitted a blade like the others were given.

Keith on the other hand who had no idea he was even Galra, he already had a blade of his own.

It boiled your blood that Kolivan aloud him to keep the blade, when you were never given one to begin with.

It made you feel even more like an outsider than you already were among the others.

Keith soon became aware of this behavior he too knew what it felt like to stick out like a sore thumb amongst others you felt you didn’t belong with.

He tried every which way to befriend you, but you ignored his advantages 

It wasn’t until he was reunited with his mother that you saw change in him that you constantly saw in yourself.

conflicting d self-loath.

he had stared to develop his mother’s galra features little by little. Because he was only half galra the marks took time to come in.

The purple stripes on his cheeks dipped down his entire back getting wider as he reached his face.

He also developed sharper canines.

Through this entire process you reassured him as he confined in a lot, even when you two hated each other. You were both still human and could understand one another better than the others ever could.

Your relationship slowly but surely turned from hating one another, to being friends until it finally turned into the two fo you loving one another.
