sorry this isn't an ask, but i have honestly found like probably 10 minutes ago, & you are already one of my favorite accounts. i cannot tell you how many times i have been so aggravated by people who post about things that ron weasley did in the films, & then act like they know everything about his character, & act like he is just some arrogant, stubborn, self-centered, annoying, useless member of the golden trio.. he is SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT!! i thank you & your blog for doing him justice. ♡

also, you've probably already discussed this, so sorry if you have, but i've always been angry about how movie hermione ALWAYS has book ron's important lines!! JUST 1 example for you that i CANNOT STAND: •prisoner of azkaban: book: ron LITERALLY gets up on a freshly BROKEN leg to tell a CONVICTED MURDER that if he wants to kill harry, he'll have to kill all of them too. HONESTLY, A BROKEN LEG! movie: it's the SAME EXACT LINE except hermione says it as ron moans about his leg. siriusly.

i'm sorry but this gets me SO heated, one more thing love: i CANNOT get over when hermione answers a question in potions & snape calls her an "insufferable know-it-all" (i think you know where i'm going with this -.-) •book ron: "You asked us a question, and she knows the answer! Why ask if you don't want to be told?" •movie ron: "He's got a point, you know." enough said. also, i am aware you probably already know these but i just have to express my distress w/ someone who gets it!!

You make some good points, friend! The movies portrayal of Ron is really no-one’s favourite thing and I will forever detest the way his character was butchered for comic relief. 

Hermione stealing book!Ron’s lines not only butchers one character but two. They reduce Ron to nothing and make Hermione out to be everything- which aside from bringing some Unhealthy relationship dynamics into play and setting unattainable standards for little girls who idolise this perfect version of Hermione- completely takes away from the characters as we know them! The Shrieking Shack incident, especially! It’s infuriating.

And if I had a penny for every time I’ve wanted to scream because of that line change in PoA I would have enough money to fund another HP film franchise and give Ron the character development he deserves.

Hey! Could I plz have a ship? it's probably asking too much to have a ship for each era, I just think ur ships are AMAZING! I'm 5'3, Gryffindor, skinny, have dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, freckles, & dimples. Pretty insecure. You and James would be an amazing duo always on the road and experiencing interesting stuff. But sometimes you both just need some quiet hours just by yourself. With the smell of your baked cookies in the air ( james would seriously ( ha ha joke) kill for them) and snuggled up in a blanket just feeling safe and home.

And for harry well…I just can imagine you two lifting each other up. He would be amazed by your knowledge and the power to lift him up. Every time he sees you he instantly lightens up. And seriously who could resist someone who bakes as often as you do? His friends would love you. Hermione for your brain and the fact that you two could discuss and talk forever. And Ron would just smile seeing harry and you so happy while the big plate of cookies is resting on his belly.
