My Villain Ships

Stone Spider

This is the ship between my two GSU villains Arachne and Obsidian. Both are super-powered villains with tragic (and not fully developed) backstories. Arachne is a spider mutant (with a full spider abdomen and legs coming out of her back) and a master thief. Obsidian has earth bending powers and can summon obsidian blades. His day job is jewelry making, and at night they out together to steal precious metals and gems that he uses as the raw material for his craft. After all, that museum wasn't using it for anything, and diamond mines are unethical.

This pair is married (he made the wedding rings), and they are NOTORIOUS for flirting while on criminal missions.

I really want to draw ship art of them doing the spiderman-kiss thing, but I haven't yet, so here are two individual portraits.

Blood Bloom

My newest ship, this one features my oc Belladonna, and Bast, an oc belonging to @cutelover76. Belladonna is a dc oc, and she is the leader of a criminal organization in Bludhaven and Gotham that specializes in plants and poisons. Bast is an oc from a different fandom who got access to interdimensional travel and ended up in Gotham, where he met Belladonna. They started doing crime together and well...

This ship is new and still in progress, but you can watch it develop live on our rp blogs @belladonna-ismyfavoritecriminal and @cutelover76. The two characters have not yet realized they are in love yet, but it is very obvious to their gang members.

Riddle Flower

This is really an honorable mention because I'm not doing much with it at the moment, but if Belladonna was ever to end up in a relationship with a canon dc character, it would be the Riddler. On the rp blog, obviously, she has a different ship, but I may right a fanfiction of this one some day.

A canon character important to Bella is Riddler.

Many of the citizens of Gotham and Bludhaven who know the villain Belladonna assume that Poison Ivy was her main inspiration. While she admires Poison Ivy, and simultaneously finds being compared to her annoying, that isn't who inspired her in her rise to villainy.

Well before she ever truly considered being a villain herself, she was fascinated with and admired Riddler. She liked his intelligence, and was fascinated by how he did crime more for entertainment and pride than for practical gain.

She also studied his rivalry with the Bat, which contributed to some of her philosophies about her own rivalries.

[For the purposes of my timeline, I have Riddler starting his career as a teenager, not much older than Dick.]

While Ashleigha was buying Robin and Nightwing merch, Izabella loved her Riddler hoodie.

After she began to establish herself as a villain, one of her goals became to do something that would impress the Riddler. Some of her grander crimes were attempted with this goal. She also began to try to solve his riddles before the Bat, and leave her own riddles in exchange. These were often done through floral arrangements that used the language of flowers.

He began to notice her efforts, and they developed a sort of rivalry of riddles. As they connected through this rivalry, they began to fall for each other. Their gang members realized this before either of them. When they finally did realize it, their marriage had the best floral decorations ever seen in that city.
