I think one of my favorite things about the riddler is that he’s either portrayed as a clean, well dressed, put together, very organized guy or an absolute rat of a man who hasn’t touched a shower in weeks and both are correct.

As I much as I want to expand my search of Riddler-focused fanfictions I just can’t read Batman (2022) fics without getting thrown off guard. The author will name him Edward Nygma and everything and never even refer to him as ‘Nashton’ but the minute I see the ‘Batman (movie 2022)’ fandom tag a part of my brain goes: Hm. That’s not my blorbo, that’s just some guy. Just a dude. Some random fella. Where’s the pizazz? The razzle? The dazzle? The hallucinatory musical sequences with homoerotic undertones set to Amy Winehouse?
