if you wanna watch a new show and want to see gay characters and a gay relationship (played by actors who are also gay), you should totally watch Ride on hallmark (sundays at 9 pm EST)

tuff (yes that’s his name okay leave him alone) is the youngest son in the mcmurray family who have a ranch in colorado that they are struggling with. he sings! he plays guitar! he has a really cute smile (lol) and he enthusiastically is the MC for the rodeos they put on at the ranch.

he started seeing julian who we were introduced to in the pilot episode. they finally learned how to communicate by the 6th episode (see kiss above. i mean they actually TALKED before they kissed but ya know). also in episode 4 (i think?) tuff introduced julian to his mom and it was a very cute scene.

this show is very cheesy (it’s hallmark hello) but idc bc it’s a nice family drama where the actual main relationship so far is tuff and julian while his older brother and sister-in-law to his deceased oldest brother have a will they won’t they type of thing going on (while that older brother also has a romantic interest in tuff’s best friend valeria). oh yeah the show also involves bull riding and that’s literally how the oldest son died and the second oldest is now doing it too but tuff is just chillin kissing his boyfriend and being there for his family.

anyway, everyone should watch. there are horses and big hats. i may have made a powerpoint of why people should watch the show heh.

I'm really enjoying Ride. Can't believe we only get two more episodes. My favorite so far has been Isabel (for all the obvious reasons) but also, come on, look at her-

protect her at all costs. Girl needs a break after all she does for everyone else. I would love to see flashbacks of her with Dusty for how much she talks about him and how significant his career is to this possible stadium deal. Would also love to see flashbacks of everyone as kids, growing up on that ranch, how she managed being a mom to them after losing Dusty. I think this show has great potential for another round and I hope Hallmark decides to keep it.
