I think season one was a slow burn. It started slow but picked up a bit by episode 10. I think it deserves a season 2. I'm not sure if the writer's strike will prolong an announcement or hurt the future of the show. I hope not. I'm anxious to see how Austin's son will be integrated into the McMurray family. I know Cash & Missy kissed but, I still think it's too early for them to be together. I know her leaving and not saying anything to either Gus/Cash will probably not sit well. I'm glad she's putting herself first though. I wonder if there's a season 2 if we will see more of Tuff's musical journey. I also see in a season 2 the expansion of the Tucker & Cash storyline. Plus I'm still wondering what is going to happen with Val and her dad. I could see everyone coming back for season 2. Overall, I was happy with Season 1. It needs some improvement but, what show doesn't. Here's to a season 2 hopefully.
P.S. Thank you for putting this together.
It definitely was a little slow but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I think it was a solid season and they've established the characters and what everyone is dealing with. I can't say I'm personally invested in everything but I like the show and the actors and I hope we get to see where it goes.
It had pretty good ratings. Not as good as The Way Home but still respectable. It seems like Hallmark was really intentional about which shows they chose to air so I'd be really surprised if Ride doesn't get renewed. When it could come back is up in the air though with the current strike and potentially more to come. We shall see.
