*Read caption for DISCOUNT CODE* My first ever ELECTRIC SKATEBOARD :O I reached out to @ride_1up because I’ve been considering purchasing one for a while now - I commute/drive around A LOT but usually don’t go more than 8-12 miles away from home. More often than not, I’m just going to a local coffee shop or UCI to study/work . I had this board at the top of my list because it had the longest travel range out of all the boards I looked up (~19 mi). I actually haven’t maxed out the battery yet because 19 miles has been more than enough for me so far and the charger isn’t too bulky to carry around in my backpack - I just charge the board at the coffee shop while I work . What REALLY impressed me about this board tho is the intentionality in the design! The casing and build is super durable, yet slim in profile. Even the weight distribution from front to back is great and LOVE how the motors are encased in the back wheels! The wheels are a HUGE pro for me because I don’t need to worry about chains or belts getting caught or damaged 👍👍👍 They’re also really big, which makes the riding experience really smooth :D . The ONLY concerns I have (which I’ve talked with the company about and they’re fixing) are 1. the trucks come way too loose, you’ll need to tighten those for a stable ride and 2. the braking controls have a bit of a learning curve to them if you want to brake smoothly. There are a couple other minor things, but honestly they’re not really significant . I’ve used this board a good amount now and I’m VERY pleased with this product!
