Happy Monday y’all! How was your weekend? Were you able to do things that light you up and inspire you? I am so happy to say that after a little of over 6 months of riding Athena, I am finally getting more confident on unpaved roads, loose gravel and dirt. For me, it typically takes a year of the learning curve before I start gaining confidence on a new combustion machine. I still do get nervous because not every line is predictable, but I can clearly identify that I am not afraid to tackle some roads head on. It feels so good to be more confident on my bike, I knew this day would come. Honestly I just needed time and experience on a dual sport. I was able to tell this last weekend that I became more confident because I didn’t even hesitate hopping a curb fully loaded. Before I would ride along on the sidewalk and find a gentle sloping driveway. Now I just send it 😈 Are there any areas of growth you see in yourself? I would love to hear about it.
