lucretia’s depends extremely heavily on which iteration of lucretia you’re talking about!!!!!! young lucretia is a much different person than madame director lucretia. there’s a shift in her characterization that prioritizes her goals over her study and more importantly over her family because of her intense dedication to the fact that she’s Right. that’s slytherin. but young lucretia spends her time on a technologically fascinating robot planet just collecting personal stories, because she’s a chronicler, and biography is what she Does!!! we love

taako’s also depends on which point we’re drawing from. taako alone, taako who’s never had lup, taako who has no one to be loyal to except himself, is a MASSIVELY different person than taako who has always had lup. voidfished taako is a slytherin w/o a shadow of a doubt, because his ambitions are literally all he has. but when lup’s around, there are several times where taako’s ego and self-assuredness come second to his trust in and loyalty to lup. he almost misses the big fucking boss fight to stay by her side until he realizes she’s Got It. that’s a huffled puff babey

HMM okay there’s several ways to take reality tv but i’m gonna go with like, a fucking real housewives thing because i don’t watch a LOT of reality tv but i watched fucking real housewives of atlanta for a minute

listen. for starters? garfield the deals warlock is the like, host or whatever of the show. pure chaotic energy. like, he’s the andy cohen at the reunion things

in an early confessional taako verbatim says “i’m not here to make friends” because he is the worst

the editing tries to play it like there’s this HUGE love triangle between lup and barry and lucretia. there’s not, it’s chill, please calm down

on a cuter note i feel like when the show starts out magnus has just met julia and they’re dating and it’s cute and like 3 seasons later they have a wedding episode. the show plays up how stressful it is but it’s actually a really nice day for most everyone involved

god it probably also tries to do a love triangle between merle and dav and john and it makes john out as this terrible bad boy. he’s just depressed you basards (this is me coping) (i love john hunger)

so to start off……….. we got prince kravitz and peasant taako, because i’m a sucker for it

i’m ALSO a sucker for the ever-so-predictable “all the princesses royals from other nations arrive to vie for the prince’s hand in marriage” shit, so that’s like. the Context that’s going on. important players here are princess lucretia (OF COURSE, it’s what she deserves) and princess lup (some wild separated at birth shit is going on there)

taako is like. Not Into kravitz initially because like, fuck authority and fuck rich people, eat his ass

likewise, kravitz thinks taako is rude and shitty and obnoxious (which, i mean, all fair points)

i think there’s like, a comedic amount of taako and lup Just missing each other, and weird little things that prevent them from meeting/realizing the truth. and they’re not identical so even though they look, like, Very Similar, there’s some plausible deniability.

anyway kravitz is deeply unmoved by all of these foreign dignitaries trying to romance him. he’s a hopeless romantic and as much as he understands marrying for political convenience, he doesn’t want to

he super befriends lucretia, though. they get along really well. they’re both nerds and they probably talk about poetry and shit, also they bond over being a massive gay and lesbian respectively

lucretia starts to put the pieces together that lup and this kitchen boy she keeps seeing are. Connected. somehow. and asks kravitz to help her figure this out and possibly reunite them

(there’s probably some Lore in lup’s kingdom about a missing princess which means everyone’s like oh it can’t be him …… sike he’s fucking trans)

this is getting rambly and incoherent but over the course of luc and kravitz trying to reunite these two, krav and taako get closer and taako instills some pretty revolutionary ideals in him and the monarchy is drastically changed (if not completely dismantled lmao) eventually

honestly just keep your eyes on the road. check your review mirror more often than normal. don’t drive faster than your comfort. if u have cruise control, use that. that way you never go faster than what makes you the most comfortable. just know that everyone else wants to get home safe like you do so they’ll be extra careful as well. if it helps, turn on music or podcast or news broadcast. smth that’ll help you feel relaxed
