アメリカの高校生達の恋と青春を描いた「初体験/リッジモント・ハイ」（原題：「Fast Times At Ridgemont High」）は、あの当時のハチャメチャでお気楽な時代の雰囲気を今に伝える映画だ。出演俳優も凄い。ジェニファー・ジェイソン・リー、フィービー・ケイツ、ショーン・ペン、ジャッジ・ラインホルド..後にビッグ・スターになる俳優たちのオンパレードだ。ジャクソン・ブラウンのこの主題曲（邦題：「誰かが彼女を見つめてる」）も映画の雰囲気にピッタリだった。
