[ YLISSE ] - The successor of the Archanean minuet, this waltz suits modern Ylissean tastes with easy-to-learn steps, a faster pace, and a closeness to your partner that continues to scandalize the older generations in Ylisse.
Wait is that... well of course it was! He didn't know any others who had a mane of green hair like that. Blinking in surprise, Berkut soon finds himself walking over, as smirk on his face.
"Tina? Is that you?" Of course it is, he still remembers their time. Forcing back the more unpleasant memories, he quickly grabs a rose from his bouquet. "You know I believe you once mentioned wanting to go to a proper ball. Well my lady, would you care to take this rose and join me in a dance?"
Perhaps in doing this, it will help force away the faintest traces of guilt that seemed to linger.
Tina's chest is ready to burst with butterflies as she makes her entrance to the famed Ethereal Ball. Last year, she had just missed it and was absolutely furious when she found out. Talking with classmates who attended cemented it in her mind that she absolutely could not miss it this year.
But this is not the sort of thing she's ever done before. She's never worn a dress this beautiful. She's never watched couples swaying from side to side with the music or seen such lovely decorations and bountiful food. It's intimidating, even for someone as in your face as she can be.
She stands off toward the side, fiddling with the orange lace of her skirt and awkwardly rocking from heel to toe on her feet. Green eyes scan the room for a familiar face or two that she could approach so it looks like she at least has some friends. And that's when she hears his voice.
It's a voice she for sure hasn't forgotten, even when it isn't coming out of the mouth of a mask. It's a voice she's thought about, even back home in Tahra. She's thought about his voice, and his handsome, cocky smirk, and his perfect hair.
And his grandmotherly betrayal...
"BerKUT!?" Her voice kind of squawks toward the end of his name but surely not enough for him to have noticed, right? He can't have noticed because he hands her a rose. A rose!!!! Nevermind that they're both supposed to be handing out flowers to people. In this moment, she can forget about all that because he calls her his lady. She's never been someone's lady.
He even remembers that a ball like this is something she's always dreamed of! Her curls bounce as she tries to hold back her absolute excitement.
"You want to dance? With me?" EEEEEE!!!!!!!!! The rose is tucked behind her ear. She wants to keep it somewhere special and separate from any others she might end up getting. "Yeah! Totally!" Her voice goes a little quieter. "I like missed you or whatever."
