"[you see] a magazine on a newsstand with your picture on the cover. what goes through your mind?"
"I get the immediate feeling that I'm lying. I get an ego boost. I get... confused, because it looks like me, but it looks nothing like me."
"what if someone wants to be around you just because you're a movie star?" "I feel dirty. I feel like a - a - a beautiful woman, who... doesn't feel beautiful?"
RIGHT I FORGOT ABT MARIO PARTY
wait. ocularum lore.
yttd theorising
wait god ok so i havent played chapter one in a while. is there a fandom consensus on who voted mishima. it just occurred to me that sou against all fucking odds might have been telling the truth
just cuz like. sou has motive to fuck with sara. he doesnt trust her from the get go due to her 15.5%. it's plausible he lied about his actions to intentionally make joe seem untrustworthy because he knew those two were close. this is also corroborated by him later lying about the circumstances of him sharing this with sara (no way, i didnt say anything like that. ^_^).
but its really bothering me that the fact remains that between joe and sou, one of them had to vote mishima, and sou had no motive to vote mishima specifically. nothing on the sheets made him stand out, i don't think he even spoke to the guy.
but. its implied joe knows more than he let on when he was alive and its likely he had some special connections/interactions with the kidnappers or ASU-NARO. (claiming he fought them, his dad & his dad's relation to midori & keiji, his dad being a former officer while the police are in the pocket of ASU-NARO). it's very likely we dont know everything about his motivations and actions (like, his conversation with kai), and i just wonder if this could end up providing some extra clarification on why mishima was killed.
the possibility of it being joe's vote opens up a Lot of thought about his and mishimas roles in the game. and it really doesnt feel impossible to me. i actually might be swaying to thinking this is what actually happened.
