This is just nitpicking, but I genuinely am puzzled and fascinated by the conspiracy-fash's intinlmidation by gender neutrality.
Let's take their confabulation, purposely-misleading info .jpeg to the next logical step: everyone is now gender neutral. So what? I don't understand how they don't see that as opening the door to open-ended gender expression, as opposed to a closed door, grey blob Comrade lifestyle they're trying to paint it as.
The idea isn't to push sameness, it's to encourage expression, it's a form of individualism that isn't dictated by a binary.
Maybe that's what they're really scared of, people not following comforting, familiar dictates. I'm looking for a mate, for example, I know what to look for, socially-imposed sexual dimorphism, baybee; but in this strange new world, you can't tell by looking anymore, you have to get closer, get to know someone, be more vulnerable than ever before! Ooh hue hue, I identify as an attack helicopter! You joke, but only because you're scared, because instead of YOU labeling people, THEY are labeling themselves and -egads!- splitting hairs because these things matter-- it's not June and Ward Cleaver anymore, it's bi, pan, ace, and welcome to the polycule.
It's just so weird to me that people would trot out a gender binary, Choice A or Choice B (or AMAB/AFAB, as the case may be), and present that as the paragon of freedom and individual gender expression. It's such a frail, easily-toppled lie.
I'm so excited for the incoming of the new generation and the topping of the alt-right and conspiracy-fash, good riddance to that ugly, old energy. They're the real sheep.
