Right Trash, adj.
Right Trash is a portmanteau phrase of my creation, often used as a hashtag (i.e. #righttrash).
It combines the colloquial phrase “white trash,” meaning an uneducated caucasian American of poor social standing, with the politically-charged term “right” indicating a person of conservative leanings or Republican voting history.
Usage of this phrase effectively occurs when a person loudly proclaims their political views in such a way meant to deliberately offend others (i.e. as a comment on a link such a person has shared, or their status update or tweet). Anyone who sees the phrase may, in turn, understand the person to whom it has been applied to be both white trash and leaning to the right.
