The woods, it was something Vera knew she got from her mother. It was a place she could go to when she needed to breathe. When she needed air.

          As she sat at the edge of the lake, her           feet dancing on the top of the water,           she listened as footsteps began to make           their way towards her. And Vera knew,           only three people knew where her secret           spot was.

"I'll apologize later."

          She called out in an annoyed tone.
