Okay lets see. They're two of maybe four OCs out of my entire book series who have actually travelled to Earth (mainly the US) and they THRIVE there lol. Riley adores Cracker Barrel, any ice cream place, and Middle Eastern food, and Griffith likes barbecue, Culver's, and most burger joints that have milkshakes, and they both LOVE Italian food. Griffith has been banned from the entire McDonald's store franchise and Riley likes to go into bookstores, hide behind the shelves and whisper to the people about whether or not they should get the books they're looking at. They both love Lake Superior and the Gulf of Mexico and Griffith wants to meet as many different species of wolves as possible and Riley drags him to so many concerts but he loves her so he goes anyways

Take Your Shot is an easy little read. It’s sweet, it’s realistic, it’s a really good depiction of a healthy relationship. Carter and Logan are two characters who you’ll really like from the first chapter, and continue to like them until the last page. They’re both kind and thoughtful and genuinely deserve each other. Their relationship progresses really nicely. There’s no pressure from Carter (being out and having previous experience etc) and Logan has her own journey that’s centred around herself, not her love interest. 

One thing I really enjoyed about this book was that there was no big drama. Everything that happens is reasonable and dealt with in a way that it would be in the real world. There’s no explosive reactions or massive fights over nothing. When there is more dramatic situations, the girls support each other and their friends support them too. It was nice to see instead of the usual “conflict, break up, come back together in the end” pattern. 

I think younger audiences (15-18ish) will really enjoy this book. When I was reading it, some of the dialogue seemed really cringy to me, then I remembered that I had said almost the EXACT same stuff to my first love. Like word for word. Embarrassing for me, but a very authentic portrayal of a young relationship from the author.

Riley Scott is a 16 year old kid who suffered from kleptomania, they with their enhanced reaction time and suit that gave them super speed. Their father Zephinaia was a surgeon at the local hospital owned by angel tech who was known never giving up on a patient and always helping people who had struggled with money by paying their bills for them, Though after the death of their sister, their father changed he became Dr. Fallout. In response to this Riley became the hero known as Road Rage in an attempt to be like their father and help the less fortunate.
