In other news I may actually post Doesn’t Feel Like A Victory here just in case people actually want to read it. Want to do a little updating just bc I technically did write it like... a year ago (isn’t that wild) and I wasn’t actually expecting anyone but like 3 or 4 ppl to be invested in them

Who’s one of ur favorite ocs and why?

My favorite is Rin. They’re... a walking disaster with demon magic. Think, Bill Cipher with a conscience and no sense of self-preservation whatsoever. For my TAU followers, think discount/bootleg Alcor the Dreambender. Here’s some pictures of the disaster!

If you’re familiar with the Transcendence AU for gravity falls, I... high-key. Took the premise there and used it as inspiration for character elements - they’re initially from a gravity falls/a hat in time roleplay w/ a friend (I would tag them but they’re not on tumblr I don’t think) and so they’re a dream demon with self-sacrificing tendencies and literally. No. Sense of self-preservation. This means that they can make demonic deals (and benefit from doing so, energy-wise), they can interact w/ people in the mindscape/dreamscape, and generally have more power in the dreamscape than in the real world. They have no idea how any of this works right now, though.

They have a more demonic form that I will freely and shamelessly admit I took massive inspiration from the design of Alcor the Dreambender (Transcendence AU) and looks like this:

They’re also in a poly relationship w/ the characters Cleo and Snow, who do not belong to me, but are amazing nonetheless.

Basically they’re my disaster demon child and I love them so much. They need a break, though. They’ve. They’ve been through a lot. They need hugs. And therapy.

I love them because I’ve put. A lot of time and energy into them, their designs, and my own in-world lore for the mindscape and souls and demons. They’re also pretty involved in the in-world history, being the child of the leaders of a rebellion (and, consequently, resulting in their deaths, something they feel a lot of guilt about.) they’re not my oldest (still used) OC, but they’ve gotten to the top of the ladder pretty damn fast.
