Folks - I do have the story still going. I just needed to take a break for a bit, as I started my first semester in my phd program. The exciting news is that I am doing research that I love, which includes fanfiction! :) After the semester winds down, you wi probably see me finish posting the story on that quick update timeline I used to have with previous stories. Just be patient with me; I have not abandoned ship and don't plan to anytime soon. :)
Working on it
I wanted to let you know that I am working hard at getting this story edited, but that it's a process because I can't go as long as I did. Physical therapy is helping, but despite being stubborn, I do have to follow doctor's orders. That means typing and sitting at my desk is allotted to work stuff right now mostly. I'll be off for two weeks, so here's my plan: I'm going to post what I have finished as I finish it. That way, I know the story is there and up, and I don't have to push myself too much. I did it with the carpal tunnel when I was doing the "All in..." series and "Only Human," but it's catching up to me now. The good news is that I'll have several chapters posted over the next few weeks; possibly the entire story or close to it. We'll see how cooperative the healing process is. Thanks for the notes of concern. I had every intention of following my game plan. My mind said yes, but my body said no. No worries. This story will be completed. I'd never leave anyone hanging. ;)

I will be updating today, but I wanted to warn you that the next update may not be until next Friday. I'm in physical therapy for my rotator cuff, which makes typing something I need to do minimally.
