Once Upon a time there was a scared little girl who arrived for her first day at her new school. You see her mother had been hired as a teacher in a new school district and so she had moved her daughter with her. 

The little girl was terrified and missed her old school with her old friends. Even though her mother promised she would make new ones, the little girl doubted anyone would be friendly to her here. 

So the little girl spent her time alone until one day another girl asked if she could sit next to her in class. thus spawned a friendship spanning many years and many miles away.
