beauty in the pot, the gardens.
this is my first time trying their steamboat, a couple months back.. now i really miss it so much, since there’s no steamboat during lockdown, hahaha.. anyways, i went with another 3 friends, so there’s 4 of us, we ordered quite a lot of food but we did finish them all.
we chose the collagen pork bone soup and the mala soup, basically these two goes well with all kind of ingredients. for sauce, it’s unlimited and you can mix and match as you wish, i got the staff to mix some for me, too many options make me dizzy. XD
the ingredients are really fresh, the meat cuts are superb, it’s sliced thin enough it would melt a little in your mouth if you don’t overcook it. the vegetables and mushrooms were awesome. and my favorite is the layered beancurd roll, which is also called ring ring roll 响铃卷. i have been loving this since i first ate it, so it’s a must-order for all steamboats hehe..
the soup bases are also really good. the mala soup is spicy and full of flavor, it is great to cook meat to give the fragrance and flavor to it. the collagen soup is rich, and very addictive hehe..
after we finish our food, they give us blended ice in citrus flavor to remove the oiliness and strong taste, so you feel refreshed again. there’s also unlimited fruits for all to take. staff here are friendly and efficient so the service was great. would definitely recommend this place to enjoy good quality steamboat, although some queuing might be needed, reservations do help, hehe..
