This pretty stranger seemed to be quite the flirt, even despite the tension in Spirale; there was no guarantee that monsters wouldn’t eventually breach the invisible barriers around the construction points before ten days passed. Nor was there a way to tell if everyone had arrived safely, so some might still be struggling to survive. Of course, this stranger’s talents were wasted in such a dire situation: none of the girls so far had responded favorably to his advances. At least it meant he had free time to spare for the phantom thief’s request.

Not that Chat Noir could truly judge: he was the sort of play various tricks to break up tense moments like these, even while meticulously planning out methods to truly help. This “outing” wasn’t some mere whim, but Chat didn’t have much reason to explain his intentions just yet.

Ten days, the creepy doll lady had said. Ten days until these monster swarms would go away - assuming, of course, that there weren’t any delays or other unexpected changes. Which, all things considered, there probably would be.

In the meantime, Cloud wasn’t counting those days down. Things were dragging on more than long enough, as it was. It’d been more than a few days and nights, at any rate, he knew that much. He was exhausted, and it was only going to get worse from here.

He should take a break, Cloud knew. He needed to take a break. After all, there were plenty of others in this fight, too. But every person that was helping with these monsters (or even trying to patch wounds, if necessary) was saving lives. Cloud certainly wasn’t going to force anyone else to do it.

The problem was... he picked himself up the rest of the way, and took a step forward. That was as far as he made it. Only one step, and he collapsed back down to a kneeling position, First Tsurugi clattering to the ground.

He was too tired to keep moving, let alone fighting. Far, far too tired.

“i’m too fucking strong and way too fucking sexy to be murdered in this shower right now.”

                 Tiz sighed, picking up his hairbrush and making a tiny circle of visibility in the steamy mirror. His hair was still sticking every which way, but he had class and he was tired of waiting for Ringabel. “I’m not a murderer, we go over this every morning. It’s just me. I have class in twenty minutes and I need to brush my hair.”

                  Every morning Tiz got up early, went on a run, made himself breakfast, took a quick shower, and then, while his hair was drying, got dressed. And every morning, while he was putting on his pants, Ringabel rolled out of bed and went directly to their shared bathroom and started his hour long morning routine. And every morning Tiz was nearly late for class because he couldn’t get in to brush his hair and floss. Lately, he’d just been barging in. And every morning, Ringabel acted as though it was the end times when the door opened.

                  “You’re going to be late too if you don’t hurry up, you know.”

This time? … Ah. “Ringabel…” Ise-no-kami feels heavy in her grasp, all of the world sitting on her shoulders. She’s not one to dwell on those negative thoughts, the ones that bubble just under the surface, simmering, but…

“Alright,” she concedes. There’s no stopping him, after all – he’d promised long ago that he’d keep her safe ( even if this time it was just from some harmless monsters… ), and she couldn’t keep him from keeping a promise. ( Truthfully, she wouldn’t have it any other way. ) “Just let me back you up, okay? You don’t have to do everything by yourself!”
