The little moth who was sitting next to Callista hesitates, before running and jumping into the basket.
She waves a little goodbye, and they’re gone.
*Calli waves as well.*
”You too!”
She walks off to change, before returning to pick up her picnic basket, now full of happy mothlings.
*Calli waves and watches as she leaves.*
“I did indeed, however I probably should be heading home, now.”
Ah, of course! I understand.
Thank you so much for coming, I hope to see you again soon!
*She does genuinely mean that. Somewhat.*
I should probably also describe the mothling now that I have an actual idea of what she looks like.
She’s dressed in a soft-colored, modest sundress and has wavy hair tied back into a messy bun with a flower. Some of her hair falls into her face and trails on her shoulders. Her eyes have dark circles under them, and her face is dotted with tiny freckles. She keeps her hands folded at pretty much all times, and her antennae twitch on occasion.
Calla eventually gets out of the hot tub.
*Calli smiles as she does.*
Did you enjoy the tub, Miss Calla?
”I don’t know but it’s driving me crazy- anyways.”
*Calli finds the mothling's behavior curious and odd, but says nothing more of it.*
Calla is currently staring at the water, utterly lost in thought.
“Mhm. I haven’t quite figured her out yet, but I intend to.”
The mothling’s voice lowers to a conspiratorial whisper.
“I don’t even think her last name is Lily.”
Hm... Calla, Lily... Calla Lily... like the flower.
Perhaps it's just a nickname.
”It’s a blessing and a curse, really. Miss Lily is one, too, but she deals with it much better than I do.”
Does she, now?
*Calli glances up at Calla.*
”…I understand if that sounds strange. Sorry, my fellow mothlings say I’m a bit of a downer.”
Oh no, that's quite alright, I'm a bit of one myself, heh.. I wouldn't call it a terrible thing.
