*The girl is turned away for a moment. You wonder if she didn't hear you. But slowly, she turns to face you, and...*

... oh-.! Hello there-!

Um, yes, I'm okay...!

*Through the tired eyes, the girl smiles at you with a warmth like moonrise on a summer beach.*

*And the smile is more true than it has been in a long, long while.*

*.... at the temple, the long abandoned room of Saturn starts to shift.*

*It has always been sunset- a warm, pink, hot sunset that made drops of water grow gold.*

*But now something has changed.*

*Maybe it's simply been how long the room has been left unattended. Maybe it's something else.*

*But time finally seems to shift forward in the room... and slowly, the orange pink walls grow cooler, and cooler, until...*

*Purple.*

*It's a gentle purple, like one of sunset. The walls seem to grow indigo as you climb them... but not just indigo. The light through the round windows seems to make spots on the wall sparkle, like dabs of glitter have been speckled about. The soft balls of light seem to dim ever so slightly*

*And after some time, it stops once again.*

*The room is still dusty and abandoned. The sheets of the bed are still undisturbed, waiting for someone to lie in them. There is still a lingering sent of saltwater.*

*But the room is not the vivid, loving, excited, playful sunset it once was.*

*It's dusk now. The last of the sun has all but dipped below the horizon. The last warm colors remaining is a soft, purple-ish pink that the ground remains, dipping into each little pool of water and not rising more than a foot up the walls before fading fully into purple.*

*There is still no one in the room. Nor has there been for so, so, so long.*

*But it changes like there has been.*

I never expected to find a new friend. Honestly I didn't expect to even let anyone treat me well enough to be a friend, after what I did.

But... now that I accidentally have...

The little moth who was sitting next to Callista hesitates, before running and jumping into the basket.

She waves a little goodbye, and they’re gone.

*Calli waves as well.*

”You too!”

She walks off to change, before returning to pick up her picnic basket, now full of happy mothlings.

*Calli waves and watches as she leaves.*

“I did indeed, however I probably should be heading home, now.”
