Relief swelled in him, despite him feeling he didn’t deserve it. The recent events hit hard like thunder, and, in the same breath, Lucifer felt as he did once, a long, long time ago. Surely, there would be consequences. Lucifer didn’t dwell on that now. Being given something in light of wanting to protect was better than nothing at all. Lucifer could concentrate on the inevitable punishment later. For now, being able to fly freely was something he had missed. Six wings stretched out, as light as the sun. There was no point in trying to be inconspicuous when trying to look for anyone who may be harmed or in trouble. Despite not knowing what exactly he could do, Lucifer just wanted to avoid making the same mistakes as he had done in the past. There was a familiar figure he spotted, a face he’d seen briefly before. His landing was still as effortless, concern spread across muddied features.
“Are you alright?” He asked. He had no clue as to where he’d flown to, exactly, but it wasn’t something worth thinking about. He gave a smile of reassurance. “If you need any help, please, don’t hesitate to use me by any means.” The obvious question was left unspoken. Lucifer didn’t care for sides. The urgency of their predicament had heightened tenfold.
