Hello, Magical Cuties! This is going to be a quick check in on a product I've been trying out. Sooooo on April 11th I started drinking Cocoalocks, which is drinkable hair vitamins in the form of chocolate milk/hot cocoa mix. tbh I haven't seen any immediate results but this is fair as I think any sort of hair growth vitamin takes more than a month of usage, and it's only been approximately 22 days. If all else fails, at least I'm enjoying a pretty decent cup of chocolate milk or hot chocolate every day! I even mix it in my coffee on the days I run out of my almond milk. I did have small breakouts which could be attributed to many other things other than the biotin in this product so that's something I'm looking out for. Although this doesn't guarantee nail growth afaik, it supposedly has biotin in it so it's fair to judge and say my nails look and feel pretty much the same. I actually grow my nails really long, really fast and they're not horribly weak or chippy therefore I could kinda care less if I don't see nail results. I'll continue using this for the rest of the 30 days (or until I use up the entire bag of cocoa mix) and maybe do a full video review with updates on my hair, skin, and nails! REVIEW: Halloween Miku keychain by Happys Charms!

Hiya, Magical Cuties! Today I will be doing a quick review over my latest addition to my growing charm collection and a store I just recently discovered called Happys Charms ( @happyscharms on tumblr). 

A few weeks ago I discovered the shop Happys Charms on social media (can’t recall if it was through IG, tumblr, or twitter) through a post about their friendship necklaces ( x // x // x ) and immediately fell in love with their designs. I decided to check out their etsy shop and saw that they still had a few Halloween designs left over and the one that stuck out the most to me was the Halloween Miku charm. I was going to buy two for my boyfriend and I but unfortunately, there was only one left. So ayyyy at least I got the last one! ;;; I also tried my hardest to not buy the Halloween Deku one because he was sooo cute too. 

I placed my order on November 5th and everything was processed the same day. The item officially shipped out on the 6th and arrived to me in Texas (from California) on the 8th. Two day shipping from the two states isn’t new to me, but I was very pleased with how fast the seller sent it out in the first place! 

Packaging:

Item came in a small bubble mailer.

They put the charm inside a small cherry blossom print goodie bag/envelope.

They also included their business card and a few Gudetama sticker flakes (a bonus from me, as I really love Gudetama).

It’s a small detail, but I also appreciate the way they packaged the keychain with a cute little card insert/background in the clear envelope. 

I love every detail about this charm from the art to the adorable charms at the end. The actual keychain is a clip on one and is sturdy.  None of the rings looked loose so I don’t see the acrylic charm or the heart and star charms falling off anytime soon. The little charms on the end don’t look cheap or tacky. The Miku charm itself is a little raised/three dimensional rather than it be a flat piece of acrylic like most charms. There is a slight error below one of Miku’s eye (her right eye, our left). It’s possibly from printing, as it isn’t on the surface of the charm but it’s nothing too serious or noticeable from afar. 

Overall, depending on what shows or fandoms you’re interested in, I recommend checking out Happys Charms for their adorable designs, their quality, and their promptness.

Side note, I recently had the idea to put all my keychains and phone charms on my favorite lanyard so here it is in its full glory + with Miku added to the family!

So for the past month I've drank Cocoa Locks and my final day was on May 20th! I wanna try to do a full review on it, but here are a few things I've noticed. 1) Although I missed drinking Cocoa Locks on some days, the bag had a lot of cocoa/chocolate milk mix to offer so I was able to have a few cups of chocolate after the 28 (30?) day trial. 2) Although this was labeled as the "milk shake" bag, I wouldn't be surprised if this was still just hot cocoa mix. It didn't dissolve very well in cold milk, tasted better in hot milk and remained chunky. It was still pretty decent chocolate milk! 3) i have somewhat fast growing hair (and nails) already so I can't determine if this boosted that process, but I did notice my hair looked a lot shinier this past month! Hopefully I can get a review up after my birthday. I might actually try another month before reviewing. 😊😊😊

So a few weeks ago I received a box of goodies from Your Peachy Senpai. It arrived in the mail pretty fast because the owner ships from California and I live in Texas. Usually shipping from the two states takes two to four days. Shipping from them is pretty consistent because this is the third time I’ve received something from them. Unfortunately this time, I couldn’t provide a picture of how the packaging was, but everything came in a nicely taped box with those big air bubble bags inside to prevent whatever is inside from damaging. There was only one item in there that would be considered “fragile” so everything inside the box was fine.

A rundown of the goodies I got:

A small bag with cute stickers, activity pages, erasers, button, and candies inside.

Falsies

I’ve actually always wanted falsies with little rhinestones on them but all of the ones I’ve seen so far were too costumey (lashes were too long, rhinestones were too big or tiny). These would be perfect for fairy kei looks. I wish I could’ve had worn pictures of these but at the moment I do not have lash glue.

Yesss I have something else to add to my phone charm collection! It’s a cute lil’ happy piggy with gingham ears. It’s made out of hard plastic and it’s pretty sturdy. The care instructions are pretty clear on what you can put in it or what temperature of things can be put in it. I’m more than likely going to be using this as decoration or for storing things. It’s too cute to get food in it and dirty. Plus my mom really loves frogs so she’d love to have this in the living room! This item and other rice bowls can be found here for $3.99. That’s all the goodies I’ve received and I was not disappointed. Usually I get worried about surprise bags/boxes because I feel like I’ll be a terrible person for not liking anything but luckily that wasn’t the case. 

Final verdict: 

Shipping: 10/10 - As I’ve previously mentioned, this is my third order and the shipping time is pretty consistent. She ships as first class mail and gives a  free tracking number but I usually never have to check it because I always recieve my items within two to three days. 

Communication: 10/10 - The owner, Kat, is very interactive with her followers, customers and promoters. She frequently updates me with the status of my order, the day she’ll ship it out and sometimes checks in to see if I received my items. 

Overall: 10/10 - I never have any issues with my orders from Your Peachy Senpai. The ordering process is easy, the owner communicates with me, and everything arrives fast and safe.
