𝑏𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑘 𝑎𝑖𝑟 𝑚𝑎𝑥 nike sneakers are dragging themselves along campus greenery as the concept of time has completely flown out of the window for the boy . the morning songbirds begin to chirp away as the illuminating moon bid its farewell long ago to the hollingsworth natives , & with the sun now rising , river is forced to acknowledge the exhaustion protruding in his bundle of nerves . after surviving such a hectic party last night ( or rather , a few hours prior ) , each step he’s taking wholeheartedly DRAINS , but even in such a wearisome state , the male’s natural urge is to keep on trudging his way home to pike’s stomping grounds . admittedly , the last twenty minutes have been an absolute nuisance , it almost feels like river is making circles around college grounds . blame it on the drugs , excessive alcohol intake or the delirium thanks to the lack of sleep — but a state of panic begins to trickle in as the frat boy continuously misreads the campus map , winding up to the same spot he was first located at . by this point , he’s on the verge of giving up , so river begins to stroll aimlessly . he’s carrying takeout consisting of greasy food to soak up the intoxicants ( a MUST for any college student after a wild outing ) , & his vision is bleary but clear enough to recognise the familiar surroundings of the prodigious snu residence . as he continues to trek , he spots a masculine figure laying on the grass far ahead , & it only takes until the boy to draw closer for him to discern valerio’s mug . a quiet chuckle escapes his brims as river’s now hovering over , tall shadow blocking the other’s view . ❛ — you alive , bro ? ❜
