happy 10-year anniversary to the time i woke up at 4am to a call from my neighbor when i was out of town. "your cat is fine, your house is fine, but your car's been set on fire."

a guy went a little nuts one night and just. went around the neighborhood setting stuff on fire. he got my car, a truck, a bunch of random belongings that had been left outside, someone's little fishing boat that was parked in the driveway... he even tried to set some porch furniture on fire, which got him felony charges because it would have set the rest of the house on fire where people were sleeping.

the good news is that my car was the first one hit, and you can actually see on someone's doorcam footage the firetruck on the way to put it out, and they stop to put out the porch furniture fire. bea saved some lives that night.

my copy of the hobbit was in the back seat and a few pages were still recognizable, but otherwise she was toast.

I know I sound negative BUT...

I think Bea is definitely dead. It really makes sense. The writers have given us a whole season to fall in love with Allie, and we all did. Also, let's be honest, no one actually hates Kaz. We just got salty because she fucked with Bea. But Kaz and Allie still love one another and they're not going to change that anytime soon. Kaz is top dog now and the focus may shift to their group and Allie will move in and replace Bea as the focus character. They've been preparing this for a while. As much as I'm not a fan of killing of Bea with that little 'Romeo and Juliet' stunt they just pulled, they've sort of prepared us for it and I think we will be okay. I know Bea was out Queen, she was for four whole seasons. She was Fucking incredible. All I'm saying is, I think this may not go down in flames as we think it is.

My pet scorpion died tonight. I've only had her since November, but she was my most beloved of my 9 scorpions. I'm really upset about this, even if she is "just a bug." Here's some pictures of her when she was healthy and used to peek out of her burrow.
