Yuu: they fell on top of him.

Crewel: I’ll be there in five minutes, make sure they don’t play with their wounds this time.

Crewel got the first aid kit on stand by at all times, not just on lab days. At least he'll never be rusty on the first aid magic with these idiots around.

Floyd's acting strange.

Then again, he's always been a bit strange. Sometimes, the thought that he's constantly high crosses your mind with how erratic his moods are. He developed some stalking tendencies too, although he's a lot less subtle than his brother.

Like right now. He's literally a few feet away, following you wherever you go. The other students are scrambling to the side the moment they see the maniacal grin on his face and Grim is frantically whispering in your ear to hurry and get the fuck out.

Much to the cat's disbelief, you just roll your eyes and waved off the fact that Floyd looks like he's about to devour you. "Don't you have any sense of self-preservation?!" The cat yowled, almost tearing out his own fur. You gave him a calculating look before shrugging your shoulders.

"No, not really."

"[Name], what the hell?!"

You were just about to exit the school building when another tall figure blocks your way. You would have collided with Jade if you weren't able to stop yourself. "Aha~! Koebi-chan~ Going somewhere?" Floyd asked from behind before wrapping his long arms around you.

"Well yeah? It's lunch time. I already got my food, so I'm heading to the courtyard to eat it. A change of pace, y'know."

Jade raised an amused eyebrow at your unperturbed attitude before his mismatched eyes turned into crescents as he smiled. "My...you should go to mostro lounge instead. It can certainly provide a better atmosphere. I shall even provide delicious tea to go with your food."

You ignored Grim's frantic calls of "[Name], no!" and let the twins guide you to the Octavinelle dorm.

Now, you were seated on on one of the tables at the lounge with Floyd nuzzling your cheek. Grim seemed to be the only one aware that there was something wrong, urging you to not do something stupid, that's Ace and Deuce's job!

Before he can take action and burn down the lounge, Azul grabbed him with a strained smile and shoved a dish cloth in his mouth. Thankfully, it was clean.

"Good day, prefect."

"Hiya, Azul. What's up?" You greeted with a wave. Jade followed close behind, carrying a pot of tea. He poured you a cup before seating himself across the table. Azul sat beside him, throwing the struggling Grim to who-knows-where. By the crash you heard, you were pretty sure he landed in the trash can.

The trio started a nice, long chat with you and you swear their smiles got bigger everytime you took a sip of the sweet smelling tea.

It's probably drugged...but it tastes good at least.

A few minutes later, you started to feel very sleepy. You yawned and felt Floyd's embrace grow tighter as your drowsiness overwhelmed you.

The next time you woke up, you were in Azul's room and...yep. Those are definitely handcuffs around your wrists. You looked up and saw three pairs of eyes filled with obsession gazing at you unblinkingly.

You squinted.

"...What time is it?"

"It's around 1 AM, angelfish." Azul responded.

"Oh." You rolled over and closed your eyes again.

"Eh...koebi-chan? You sleeping again?"

"Oya, oya...shouldn't you be more...alarmed?"

"...I'm too tired for this shit. Wake me up when it's noon."

Ace: A wish, huh... I don't really have anything special that I wanna wish for.

Trey: You don't have to think too hard about it you know? You can just give a light answer like you normally do.

Grim: What he said.

Grim: I doubt you'd have a wish as grand as mine so, you can just say whatever.

Ace: Well aren't you being all high and mighty...ah.

Ace: Trey-senpai, I've decided on my wish.

Trey: Alright then, let's hear it.

Ace: My wish is... "For Grim to stop causing trouble wherever he goes!"

Grim: Wha-!?

Trey: Haha, that's quite an interesting wish you've made!

Ace: Think about it, isn't Grim just causing problems for us all the time?

Ace: If this wish is granted, I'm sure 1-A can have some peace and quite, don't ya think?

Grim: When exactly have I caused trouble!?

Mc: >Maybe its that time you kind of scorched the statues of the Great Seven?        >How about that time you broke a chandelier?

Grim: T-that's not just my fault! Ace had a hand in that too!

Trey: Hey now don't get into a fight. We've collected the wish so we should probably get a move on.

Ace: See~ Trey-senpai says so, you should get off my back and wrap this up quickly yeah?

Grim: Dammit!! This is so frustrating!!

the point where we shatter: chapter 12 excerpt

He should have known to distrust the general when he insisted on separating from General Koon when they breached the capital. He should have known Tibalt had ulterior motives in sending General Koon and Wolffe to the other side of the city, and then told him to keep his HUD footage backed up. The next time Tibalt grinned at him with those aggravatingly sharp teeth and told him ‘just in case’, Grim was going to be kicking up a fuss.

Because what the hells were these droids and who was this pissed off Dathomirian woman trying to take Tibalt’s head off? Why was she flirting with him? And who told his general it was okay to fight like that?

Grim was preoccupied with putting bolts in the heads of the assassin droids swarming them, but there was an effort to keep an eye on the brilliant flashes of red and blue on the edge of his vision. Tibalt had to be suicidal. There was no other explanation, and Grim would be providing his helmet cam, because this was not okay, and General Koon was going to hear about it.

The scent of smoke was invading his air filters as he popped up from behind his cover and let off another shot, dropping a droid with a smoking hole in its head, and he scrambled back down as Tibalt ripped up a thick piece of rubble and sent it hurdling at the pissed off Nightsister that was gaining no ground against him.

“General Beleren,” she purred through grit teeth, “that’s no way to treat a lady.”

“Exceptional that you fall just short of qualifying, then,” Tibalt called and leapt forward, saber very much not on and functioning, and she took a swing at him, blazing red blades threatening to lob his head off. Grim’s heart leapt in his throat, but Tibalt’s hand was already flexing, letting the hilt spin around his palm once with unnecessary flourish before he wrapped his fingers around it and it ignited at the last possible second, catching her two blades for just the barest of moments before he cut the power and dropped under her swing, letting her stumble forward as he dropped to his knees and slid, the saber igniting again to slash behind him and just barely glance her thigh before she got a chance to deflect him.

The woman let out an angry screech and spun, lashing out to kick Grim’s karking general right in the head, and he took it, hitting the ground and rolling to his feet. The hilt flipped around in his palm again, and Grim had a hard time not being mesmerized by the fluidity of the motion, the saber now backhanded across his forearm. Tibalt dropped into a low guard before launching off again, switching with far too much ease from speed to raw power, a swing and a twist of his body driving the saber up, up, up, and she barely managed to block before stumbling back, overwhelmed by the force of the blow. Then Tibalt took a deep breath and a shockwave from seemingly nowhere blasted from his twisted body, sending her flying back, and he locked purple eyes on Grim.

“Secure the royal family!” He ordered, his voice strong and unwavering, and Grim darted forward as Bolts and Nuts laid down covering fire. Yacht, Gambit, Tin, and Rumple bolted behind him to the door as the final assassin droids fell, and Grim keyed it open to slip through and slam it shut once again.

Grim is just straight up not having a good time. Poor boy has NO idea what trakata is and someone should have WARNED him. (Though to be fair, trakata IS just ASKING very politely to get your head lopped off.) At least Asajj is having a bad time, too.
