I just looked at the new balance changes...
Some are meh it’s a change, but others are like HOLY CRAP!
1. Innervate now gains only 1 extra mana crystal. THAT’S HUGE! That means that 50% of what druid can normally do is now f*cked! I’m not sure if I’m too fond of this change, tbh, as it kind of ruins what is arguably the best card druid has in its arsenal.
2.Fiery War axe now costs 3. ANOTHER HUGE CHANGE! This made it into every warrior deck, and now it’s pretty crappy! But now, for the future, I have no idea how to see balanced low-cost weapons, because there are a LOT of 3/2s that cost three and have effects, and no real “In-between” for 2 cost weapons, so who knows?
3. Hex now costs 4. Yeah, I think that that’s fair. I played a crap ton of shaman when I was playing the game, and yeah, it didn’t matter that the frog had taunt, your opponent still couldn’t attack with it, so I think that change will help balance how you use it, maybe not if you use it or not.
4. Murloc Warleader no longer gives the health buff, only attack. I mean, it’s a debuff, but the warleader’s biggest problem was that it brough a ton of burst damage that still exists, so I think it’ll still see play.
5. The one everyone saw coming, spreading plague now costs 6. It needed that, but it’s still an amazing card that will just have some difficulty being in combos.
Still, Innervate and Fiery War Axe are nerfed into oblivion... I have no idea what’s gonna happen to Druid and Warrior now...
