Jackie's there in every scene, hanging out with her gf and saying stuff only Shauna acknowledges

She doesn't eat, barely moves, and she reeks but won't take a bath

Turns out they've all been humouring Shauna, letting her drag Jackie's decomposing corpse around the cabin (she needed the pick-me-up)

After seeing your post about a depot agent falling into hisui, I just can't stop imagining jackie in hisui.

Like, they go to the unwanted vacation, and accidentally falls into the hisui, never notice where they are, because they never left the Gear station and has no idea about the world outside.

SOBBING AT THIS POOR FUCKIN JACKIE or maybe poor fucking hisui for being subjected to Jackie who not only is odd to begin with but also keeps referencing modern day stuff and they're just like '???????????'

meanwhile Jackie thinks they've been sent on a forced impromptu vacay by their bosses with the aid of some teleportation pokemon and is trying to figure out where they are so they can book a way home. they just assume they were sent to some bumfuck place in the middle of nowhere instead of 200 years in the past.

Jackie: You say you've never seen the outside world a time or 10 and people treat you like youve never seen the outside world, sheesh. Can't even take a joke.... Then again I don't think Ive ever seen a hole in the sky before. Eh, not my problem. Just gotta find a train home.

everyone else: what in the name of lord Sinnoh is a train

Jackie: wait I'm in Sinnoh? ok, nevermind, I need a plane.

people at home notice he's gone because he's never there when they turn around. It only took like a couple hours to notice.

Cloud: has anyone seen Jackie?

Cameron/Furze/Ramses: No...

Everyone:... Holy dragons Jackie is missing!!!! Call the 911, it's an emergency!!!!

In honor of WIP Wednesday and the fact that I meant to release something for Halloween, here's a snippet from my next chapter of Shadows in the Night.

TW: train crash

While Rei was at his new school, the bustling subway below was operating as usual. People walked onto the next train that came into the station, just like normal. The passengers watched the doors close, just like normal. They felt the train's movement all around them, just like normal. The conductor's voice came over the speakers above, announcing the stops coming up just like nor-

Wait.

"Again, the next stop is…" the conductor seemed to stumble over their words, breaking  the normal the passengers expected. " the next stop is…" their voice became more slow, more slurred. The people had started to be put on edge when…

Drip.

Something dripped onto the microphone.

Drip drip

Panic started to ripple through the passengers. Some naively believed it was a prank, but it was too far past the believable date for that. Others tried, and failed, to get into the Conductor's cabin. But in their panic they failed to notice the train going faster, blowing past what was supposed to be the next station

And faster 

And faster

Until it was getting closer to being too late. 

In that cabin that no one could, or would ever see, was the conductor of the Subway train. They still mumbled "next… stop…" into the microphone, as their hands pushed the speed of the train further and faster than the trains should ever go. Their eyes were rolled back in their head, black blood slowly oozing out of their eyes and mouth, dripping onto the microphone, suit, and nametag. Those dead eyes watched as the next station came closer.

And closer

And closer.

In the next station the crowd of people waited for the next train, just like normal. They all anxiously waited as many of them were in a rush, just like usual. They heard the screech of the train coming into the station, just like usual.

But something was off. A nearby security guard took a look down the tunnel and screamed at the gathered crowd to get out. This caused a panic as part of the crowd took his advice and started running.

Not all were lucky enough to escape when the speeding train crashed into the station. The train derailed and crumpled as people continued to flee.

When the air was clear enough to see. The conductor had been ejected from the cabin. Though heavily injured they were still breathing and their name tag was visible, still splattered with the black blood from their still listless eyes.

 In the parts not covered by the black blood, it read:
