“Hey,” Lucy hesitates, suddenly nervous. “Uh, remember when I went out with that guy and you said that no one ever buys you flowers? Well … you can’t say that anymore.”

She sets the bouquet down in front of the engraved granite slab, then lowers herself to sit on the grass in front of it. With one finger, she traces slowly over the letters.

“This is weird, huh? I never had to worry about not knowing what to say to you.” Lucy takes a deep breath. “I just … hadn't visited in a while. And I’ll cut to the chase. I should leave a $20 for you too, but it’s a little windy.” She laughs.

“You, uh, you called it. With me and Tim? Yeah, that’s a thing now. We’re … I dunno. It’s still new, but it feels good. He’s good to me. We’re good for each other, I think. Sometimes, it’s a little bit like I can hear you. Teasing us, mostly. You’d like this version of Tim; it’s not like when I was a rookie.”

This is Johnny’s ancestor known to be his Great Grandfather “Jackson Nationals.” Jackson volunteered as a Soldier and armed from the Philippine army to fight the United States Army in 1899.

Notes/Facts:

1: Jackson is 23 years old. 

2: His personalites described Jackson as hardheaded, strong-willed, passionate and im-pulsive, which are attributes of both his strong determination to protect his friends.

3: it was the longest battle that jackson’s ever face until later, Jackson get’s shot in thehead after he push his comrade out of the way from the American Soldier’s firing range.

I remember at the end of Cars 3: Driven to Win, an angry Jackson Storm makes the mistake of saying to Lighting and Cruz that he can beat anyone, anywhere, just bring it. This ends up with Jackson getting chased around Thunder Hollow Speedway by Miss Fritter. Hehehe, I just wonder how that one turned out?
