Aurora looked up at Keaton, with no hint of a smile on her face. It had been day two of her breakup with Fallon and she felt empty. She wasn’t even upset anymore. All she could feel was nothing, the tears had stopped a few hours ago. The brunette was never one to dwell on feelings, or even let them bother her. It was different this time. Despite the fights and the tears, she really did love Fallon, she knew it and she could tell that Keaton did as well. It had killed him to finally tell him about being blackmailed but knew it was the right thing to do. After finding out, she broke it off with Fallon, barely giving him a chance to talk before going back to her hotel room. She’d barely left her room. She didn’t even though that Keaton knew where she was staying, she was almost hiding out before she had to go back to work in a week. The brunette had given herself that week to get over herself before her facade would go back on. She didn’t know Keaton had entered the room before he cleared his throat, a look of concern on his face. “i can’t give up on you, so please don’t give up on yourself.” She bit her lip and shook her head. “I’m not giving up, just for this moment. I-I just feel empty inside, I don’t quite know how I feel. You should give up on me, it’ll make things easier.” She bit down on her lip, “You should go…Seeing you hurts, I think. I’m going back to Los Angeles tomorrow, i need to get away from everything. I need to get away and heal by myself, spending time with you is just going to make things harder.”

As Aurora stir from her sleep, she felt arms wrapped around her and without even needing to open her eyes, could tell it was Keaton. He was the only person since Fallon who she’d stayed the right with, the rest of the time she always left, not wanting to stay the night. She let out a small smile as Keaton kissed her forehead, opening her eyes to kiss him properly, pulling away after a few moments to give him a sleepy smile. The brunette saw the clock behind him, immediately letting out a frown. “Shit, Keats. I’ve got a meeting in twenty minutes, across time.” As she spoke, she got out of bed, heading out of the bed and went straight into her closet. Picking out a black professional looking dress, she came back out into the room, the male sitting up, eyes roaming her naked body. She grinned, “You could help me out, you know. It’s your fault that I slept through my alarm. I know you prefer getting me out of clothes but the dress has a zip which I won’t be able to reach.” Keaton let out a small sigh before standing up. She put on her dress and ones her arms were through the sleeves, the male drew his hand down the small of her back, zipping up the dress, closer to her than he needed to be. She let out a small sigh and as Keaton began kissing her neck she reluctantly pulled away. “C’mon. I know that I’m usually the one who distracts you and this is you getting your own back but I’m so late and it looks like I’ve just had sex. I would love to do nothing more but to stay with you for the rest of the morning but I’ve already rescheduled this once in my life.” She put on a bit of mascara and brushed her long hair, putting it in a ponytail before kissing his cheek, walking out of her suite.

uhm, this morning an old friend of mine passed away without warning, he was the younger brother of one of my closest friends from middle and high school and he was just the most loving person, brilliant mind, just, a really really amazing young man and all day has been this weird struggle of forgetting and remembering and disbelief because, how does someone whose soul burns so bright just, stop being part of the world? it's just one of those things that really sucks and his family has already been through a lot of shit and as an older sister i can't even begin to imagine the kind of grief his sister must be feeling and it just hurts. it really hurts and i know that it hurts for everyone who ever met him
