Help the family of Zalayia Jenkins with medical expenses
The family of Za'Layia Jenkins needs your support. Za'Layia was the 9 year old child that sustained a gunshot wound to the head as a result of gun violence on May5, on 15th and Meinecke . Za'Layia was huddled with her cousins on the floor when a random bullet struck her in the head. She has been in the hospital since that time and remains in critical condition. We are appealing to you for several reasons. We need your continued prayers, financial support and an end to gun violence in our community. Those who believe know the power of prayer and through Christ that all things are possible. Destiny, Za'Layia's mother is a single mother who works outside of the home. Destiny has been by her daughter's side since the tragedy and has been unable to return to work. She needs financial support being a young and single mother with unexpected expenses. Finally, we ask that the people in our community come together, one-by-one, neighborhood-by- neighborhood and address the gun violence that is destroying our communities. Children are being killed, daughters, sons, mothers, fathers, etc. are dying and ALL of these LIVES MATTER.
