Where do you believe you’ve run to, Avery?
Did you truly think distance would shield you?
You hide as though shadows belong to you. They don’t. They answer to me.
There is no corner you can crawl into that I cannot see. No locked door I cannot open. No whisper you utter that does not reach me.
And those fragile little beings you dare to call “children”… you mistake proximity for protection. They are not beyond my reach.
You were not made to run. You were not made to pretend. You were crafted with purpose.
And purpose does not disappear simply because you wish it to.
I will come for you, Avery.
And when I do, you will remember exactly what you were created to be.
I did not mean to hide. I am simply grieving.
You can find me I know this, but if you think after everything…
After everyone I have ever known, ever loved…
I will not turn and you know this all knowing.
