There's no warning before Mike's hand lashes out and closes around Owen's wrist. It's cold, but his grip is strong. He sits up into a crouch, watching him with eyes that weren't his, with a smile devoid of joy. He doesn't let go.

Owen lets out a shout, reeling back as far as he can go. As the shock fades, he sees the cold smile, the absent eyes.

"Mike...?" He pulls at his wrist again. When did Mike get so strong? "Mike, it's me! It's Owen! Let me go! You're alright!"
