Reaching for his magic spellbook and putting on his hood, Sjin stood outside Parvis’ door, double checking to make sure he had everything. It had been a while since he had seen the blood mage, especially with no given location. However, a worried Strife had contacted Sjin, explaining that Parvis had not been seen for almost a week, lost in his blood magic. The address was all he needed, and his first arrest was so close he could feel it, a tingling feeling all over his body as he approached the door.

“FREEZE, MOTHERTRUCKER! MAGIC POLICE ARE-” 

Blood. So much blood. It spattered the floors and walls, some flecks on the ceiling, staining the stone and overflowing the alter. The blood was smeared in some places, looking more like hand prints of last desperation, trying to get up and call for help. A figure lay on the floor, the movements of his chest barely noticeable. Parvis had wounds like Sjin had never seen, thousands of slash marks across his body, some still bleeding while others mere scars reminding Parvis of his mistakes.

“Oh sh-” Sjin stumbles forward, stomach turning at the sheer amount of red there was. There was so much blood, too much blood for even a human to produce. He falls to his knees and looks down at the figure, using his robes to at least clean his face. The bloodmage’s eyes flutter open, looking up at him in confusion.

“S-strifey?” He asks, Sjin shaking his head and pulling Parvis into his lap, looking at the wounds in fear. He didn’t know how to fix it, and that was for damn sure, he wouldn’t have enough band aids in the world to fix this. He could feel the body tremor beneath him, the breaths labored and pained. The cop felt himself starting to tear up, cursing himself for not finding Parv sooner.

“No, it’s Sjin. I’m going to fix this, okay?” Sjin stammers, tears starting to fall as he looked down at the mess. But how could he? There was so much blood, and exposed muscle staring back at him, some even showing bone. Sjin tried to continue to assure his friend, reaching into his backpack for the medical supplies he thought had.

“Don’t worry, I’m sure-”

And then Parv’s eyes closed.
