You know, there's a big difference in Pedro's and Pell's situations. Pell risked his life to save the people of Alabasta. He saw the situation and in the moment he took his decision. After all, he was just doing his job, and he knew that his job involved risking his life. The fact that he was saved, somehow, gave him the chance to keep on living a long and fulfilling life. Pedro, on the other hand, knows that he doesn't have that much time left to live. He gave a big portion of his life to Big Mom, after that incident back then. Now, he went to this mission with the resolve of sacrificing his life if that was necessary. He even brought dynamite there for that reason! Because he'd rather die by his own hands, helping the saviors of Zou to fulfil their mission, that dying an early death because Big Mom took all those years. So, if he survives, it'd be much more disappointing. He wants to die a meaningful death. Let him have it, Oda! :/

So a kid from my school died yesterday. He was murdered with his mom by his dad. His dad later took his own life. Its just weird to think how quickly someones life can end. I used to see him every day walking in the hallway laughing and holding hands with his girlfriend. He was super involved in the school band. He was a good kid, his life heading in the right direction only to be taken away. He was 17. A senior. Too young to die.

Always try to live each day to its fullest and don’t let the people you love not know how much they mean to you because you never know when you wont have the chance anymore.
