In my opinion, if Wolf was part mute like Kipo she would not be an actual wolf. Because,

A) I kinda feel like this betrays her character a little, since she hates them?

B) It's the obvious answer.

I've been tossing around a couple different animals I think would work better.

A fox, because they're similar to wolves but sleeker and more agile in appearance. Also, the idea of a fox being raised by wolves seems interesting to me.

A Ram, for many reasons. A ram would connect her to Aries, she'd be a literal black sheep, sheep in wolves clothing, and she'd retain her floofy hair in mute form.

Scorpion. Because YES.
