This is so horrific. Brianna’s family have lost their daughter which is unimaginably excruciating & it’s yet another tragedy for the trans community. The transphobic media, politicians, & people like Kellie Jay Keen & JK Rowling, you have blood on your hands! Is this what you wanted? You have relentlessly attacked trans people, stigmatised us, lied about us. You have deliberately conflated trans existence with perversion & violence. You are fucking scum…WHAT DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN???!!! Even the coverage this tragedy has garnered is problematic in its own way; so many trans folks with intersectional identities, who are part of other marginalised communities have been murdered & it’s been met with silence but that’s par for the course with our trash, transphobic British press.
